Lizzy Allen
After long arm quilting for 20+ years I am still in love with the challenge that each individual quilt brings. I have been fortunate to have won many long arm quilting awards in free motion quilting. It amazes me how much the industry has evolved with so many new and creative elements of long arm quilting, from the modern line designs to the more traditional Victorian feather.
I have had so many amazing opportunities to work throughout Australia and America at Quilt shows including teaching, demonstrating and of course being a quilt angel.
Teaching up and coming enthusiastic long arm quilters the traditional and digital side of quilting is always a delight.
My proudest moment was winning at the Victorian Showcase 2017 “Runner-up” Best of Show - my quilt “Cameo Rose”.

Thimble and Thread Quilting offers a Longarm machine quilting service to finish your quilting project. Personal attention begins with choosing a great pattern, thread and batting. Together, we will find just the right combination to complement the time and effort that you’ve invested in your quilt top.
I aim to have your quilt completed within 1 to 2 weeks. Pickup and delivery of your finished Quilt is easily arranged.

I use the latest generation of the finest quilting equipment in the industry. Outfitted with the latest software and hardware, the Quilters Creative Touch 5 and a Q'nique 21 Inch Pro Longarm Quilting Machine are able to achieve complex designs on large quilts in a matter of hours.

There are hundreds of quilting patterns from dozens of talented designers to choose from or together we can create an original design.
Thread:
I have a range of high quality solid and variegated cotton and polyester threads for you to choose from.
Batting:
80/20 cotton/poly blend
80/20 wool/poly 100% cotton, wool, silk and bamboo .
